科学传播“元宇宙” 服务科技创新发展

元宇宙的本质是“升维”

The nature of the meta-cosmos is "promotion."

元宇宙为什么受到广泛关注？《元宇宙》第一作者、中关村大数据产业联盟秘书长赵国栋首先带来主旨报告。他强调，元宇宙具备将二维上升到立体三维的“升维”本质。

He said that, as the dimensions changed, the meta-cosmos had five distinct features: free creation, natural communication, trade wherever and whenever it occurred, real experience, and virtual disillusionment. He also noted that uplifting implied a new demand, which was accompanied by a series of technological changes, such as artificial intelligence, interactive technology, 5G communications, block chains, etc.

《2020—2021年元宇宙发展研究报告》负责人、清华大学新闻与传播学院教授兼博导沈阳在线上参与沙龙活动，并详细解读了清华大学新媒体研究团队发布的元宇宙发展研究报告。他认为元宇宙具备三大核心技术，它基于扩展现实技术提供沉浸式体验，基于数字孪生技术生成现实世界的镜像，基于区块链技术搭建经济体系，拓展了人的生存维度、感官维度及思维空间。

The head of the 2020-2021 dollar cosmological development study, Professor of Qinghua University’s School of Journalism and Communication, and Director of Qinghua University’s Shenyang School of Information and Communication, participated online in Sharon’s activities, and elaborated on the meta-cosm development study published by the Qinghua University’s new media research team. In his view, the Yuan cosmos has three core technologies that provide a immersion experience based on extended reality technology, a mirror of the real world based on digital twin technologies, and an economic system based on block-link technology that expands the human survival dimension, sensory dimension, and thinking space.

沈阳强调，元宇宙其实是一个虚实相融的世界，“只讲虚拟空间，实际上把AR增强现实技术、裸眼3D、全息投影等技术给排除了，这些技术在引导我们朝现实融合更好的方向走。”

Shenyang emphasized that the meta-cosmos was a virtual world, “only virtual space, effectively excluding techniques such as AR-enhanced reality technology, naked eye 3D, hologram projection, which are leading us towards a better integration of reality”.

“元宇宙刚开始是一个互联网应用，做的人、用的人多了，就成了社会形态。”沈阳认为，元宇宙时代的到来，需要方方面面的努力，既需要社会的宽容，也需要政策的精准治理，还需要技术的不断进步，元宇宙最终才能成为一个更加美好的确定性的未来。

“As soon as the meta-cosmos began to be an Internet application, it became a form of society with more people and more people to do it.” Shenyang argued that the advent of the meta-cosmos era required efforts on all fronts, as well as social tolerance and precise governance of policies, and continued technological progress, so that the meta-cosm could eventually become a better future of certainty.

元宇宙带来新机遇？

资本界又如何看待元宇宙热点爆发给业界带来的机遇？商汤人工智能产业基金投资经理郭轩分享了业界案例，让与会人员切实了解到元宇宙技术在相关产业中的落地应用。

How does the capital feel about the opportunities offered to industry by the explosion of the meta-cosm hotspots? The industry case was shared by Guo Xuan, the investment manager of the Mercantile Artificial Intelligence Industries Fund, to give participants a real idea of the local applications of meta-cosm technology in related industries.

他认为，无论是有人参与的元宇宙，还是无人参与的元宇宙，共同点都在于服务人类的需求。在文博场景和体育赛事场景中，AR技术被广泛运用，从而提升受众的感官体验。在自动驾驶场景和医疗场景中，元宇宙被应用于模拟仿真测试，其中产生的知识有效反哺于现实世界。

In his view, the common denominator, whether one is involved in the meta-cosm, or not, is the need to serve the human race. In the scenes of social and sporting events, AR technology is widely used to enhance the sensory experience of audiences. In autopilot and medical scenes, the meta-cosm is used to simulate simulation tests, where the knowledge generated is effectively countered by the real world.

现场，北京容积视觉科技有限公司总经理郭松杰演示了现实与虚拟的结合。他打开AR应用界面进行挑选，通过大屏的呈现，相应的虚拟形象便栩栩如生地出现在会场中央。据悉，容积视觉科技专注于AR/VR/MR沉浸式游戏应用，并创作了具有体验价值的元宇宙产品。

On the scene, the director-general of Beijing-based Visual Technology Ltd., Guo Sooji, demonstrated the convergence of reality and virtuality. He opened the AR application interface for selection, and by displaying the screen, the corresponding virtual image appeared alive in the center of the conference.

主旨报告与交流互动后，北京市科协党组成员、副主席刘晓勘做总结。他介绍，科学传播沙龙是北京市科协举办多年的品牌活动，致力于为科技界、媒体界、学术界等社会各界人士搭建交流合作平台，围绕时下热点话题展开研讨，碰撞思想的火花，弘扬科学文化。

The keynote report and the exchange were summarized by Liu Xiaocang, Vice-President and member of the Beijing City Science Association. He described Sharon for Science and Communication as a multi-year branding event organized by the Beijing City Science and Technology Association, dedicated to creating an exchange and cooperation platform for all sectors of society, including the scientific and technological community, the media and academia, to discuss topical issues, sparks of collision ideas, and the promotion of science and culture.

他指出，此次沙龙主要解决了元宇宙是什么、有哪些技术和应用、如何与媒体传播结合三个问题。

He noted that Sharon had addressed three main issues: what the meta-cosmos was, what technologies and applications were available and how to combine it with media dissemination.

他强调，要大胆尝试元宇宙与科学传播的融合，用技术创新促进传播效果提升。传播元宇宙技术的过程中要坚持正确的价值观，不能迷失传播的真正意义。元宇宙是互联网技术的一个愿景，通过综合的应用场景，让科技创新更好地服务于社会发展与进步。元宇宙会塑造更多有传播力的内容，要以宣传科技为人类创造美好生活为核心，激发人们爱科学、投身于科学事业，助力科学发展，为国家科技创新战略提供支撑助力。

He stressed that a bold attempt should be made to integrate meta-cosm and scientific diffusion and to use technological innovations to promote dissemination. The dissemination of meta-cosm technology must be based on the right values and not lose the true meaning of dissemination. The meta-cosmos is a vision of Internet technology that can better serve social development and progress through integrated applications. The meta-cosm will shape more communicational content, centred on the promotion of science and technology for a better life for humanity, stimulating people to love science, engage in science, contribute to scientific development, and provide support for national strategies for scientific and technological innovation.
