USDT生死传闻搅动市场 比特币价格飞涨

If the authorities are looking for any evidence of Tether's wrongdoing or if the user loses confidence in Tether's ability to redeem his encrypted currency at $1, the USDT will soon lose its value.

　　10月15日，有关USDT的市场传闻还在不断发酵。午后，USDT随后在数字货币市场开始出现恐慌性抛售行为，资金开始卖出USDT买入各种代币，比特币因此大涨一举突破7500美元大关。

On October 15, market rumours about the USDT continued to ferment. Later in the afternoon, the USDT began a panic sellout in the digital money market, and the funds began to sell USDT for various currencies, thus breaking the $7,500 mark.

　　据Bitcoinexchangeguide消息，KuCoin官推发布消息称，将暂停该平台上所有USDT交易，另行通知之前，与USDT及其交易对相关的任何存款和取款将无法使用。

According to Bitcoinexchangeguide, the KuCoin officer issued a message stating that all USDT transactions on the platform would be suspended and that until further notice, any deposits and withdrawals related to USDT and its transactions would not be available.

　　此前曾有消息称，美属波多黎各岛上的贵族银行（Noble Bank）资不抵债了，这直接波及了两家公司——老牌交易所Bitfinex和发行USDT的Tether。

Previously, there had been reports that the Noble Bank of Nobility on the United States island of Puerto Rico was insolvent, which directly affected two companies — Bitfinex, the old exchange, and Tether, which issued USDT.

　　彭博发文称，如果政府当局要寻找任何Tether的不法行为的证据，或者用户对Tether以1美元赎回其加密货币的能力失去信心，那么USDT很快就会失去价值。

According to Bloomberg, USDT would soon lose its value if the authorities were to look for any evidence of Tether's wrongdoing or if the users lost confidence in Tether's ability to redeem his encrypted currency at $1.

　　但只有时间会证明USDT最近的价格下滑只是一个短暂现象还是一个重大事件的开端。区块链投资和咨询公司Kenetic Capital的管理合伙人Jehan Chu表示，只有当Tether彻底解决社会对其缺乏透明度的批评，Tether的稳定价格优势才能持续存在。

But it is only time to prove that the recent decline in USDT prices was only a temporary event or the beginning of a major event. Jehan Chu, management partner of the block chain investment and consulting firm Kenetic Capital, said that Tether’s price-stabilization advantage could only persist if the society’s criticism of its lack of transparency was thoroughly addressed.

　　目前TETHER尚未出面澄清，以至于市场无法平静下来，不过按照USDT绑定美元的说法，如果折价过多，不排除有机构的套利行为，而这种行为如果形成挤兑，对TETHER公司将会形成重大考验。

TETHER has not yet come out to clarify that the market cannot calm down, but, according to USDT, excessive discounts do not preclude institutional arbitrage, which would be a major test for TETHHER.
