Restaking 的概念由 Eigenlayer 创始人 Sreeram Kannan 提出，其核心机制允许将已质押的 ETH（包括各类 LST），再次质押在其他协议和 DApp 上并参与其验证过程。EigenLayer 通过主动验证服务（Actively Validated Services，即 AVS）来直接对接以太坊的安全性和流动性，使其享受以太坊安全性，并且无需另行建立一套经济和验证体系。一言蔽之，EigenLayer 提供了一个代币经济安全（cryptoeconomic security）的租借市场。
The concept of Restaking was proposed by Sreeram Kannan, founder of Eigenlayer, whose core mechanism allows the pledge of pledged ETHs (including various LSTs) to be re-encumbered on other protocols and DApps and to participate in their validation process. EigenLayer directs the proximity to the Taiku by providing the security and mobility of the AVS by providing a rental market for the economic security of the currency (cryptoeconomic security).

ether.fi 共进行了两轮融资，最近一次为今年 2 月末，ether.fi宣布完成了 2700 万美元融资，本轮融资由 Bullish 和 CoinFund 领投，并且本轮融资有超过 95 位投资者支持。

- 交易开始时间： 2024 年 03 月 18 日 20: 00 （UTC+ 8）
- 代币最大供应量： 1, 000, 000, 000 ETHFI；
- 初始流通量： 115, 200, 000 ETHFI（代币最大供应量的 11.52% ）；
- 挖矿总量： 20, 000, 000 ETHFI（代币最大供应量的 2% ）；
- 挖矿池：BNB 挖矿池总共可挖矿 16, 000, 000 ETHFI（占 80% ），FDUSD 挖矿池总共可挖矿 4, 000, 000 ETHFI（占 20% ）。
而根据往期 BNB 池进行计算，前八期的平均年化收益率为 135% （AEVO 未上线不计入），假设本次挖矿的年化收益率也是 135% ，按照挖矿 4 天计算，则代币的价格为 8.66 USDT，按照 AI 的最低收益率 70% 计算，保底价格为 4.5 USDT。
