519币圈到底经历了什么？虚拟货币是谎言还是机遇？

5月19日对于币圈的投资者而言，可谓是一场史无前例的“灾难”。

当天晚上，虚拟货币的价格出现急剧下降，整个币圈都在“砸傻”了。其中，比特币单日最高跌幅达到34%左右，跌破30000美元大关。而以太坊甚至出现了几乎腰斩的行情。而马斯克的新宠狗狗币也没法逃过一劫，最大跌幅一度来到56%，几乎无一幸免。

为何平白无奇的一天，会迎来如此恐怖的局面呢？一方面，近日中国支付清算协会、中银协和互金协会联合发布公布，规定金融机构以及支付机构都不得开展任何与虚拟货币相关的业务。

On the one hand, China’s Payment Settlement Association, China Bank Association, and the Mutual Gold Association have issued a joint announcement that financial institutions, as well as payment agencies, are not allowed to carry out any business related to virtual currency.

而在同一天，内蒙古发布了一则《关于受理虚拟货币挖矿问题信访举报的公告》，里面指出目前内蒙古自治区已设立虚拟货币“挖矿”的企业举报平台，并且将会全面清理、关停任何有关挖矿的项目。

On the same day, Inner Mongolia issued a bulletin on receiving reports of visits to virtual currency mining, which states that a virtual currency “mining” business reporting platform has now been established in the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia and that any mining-related projects will be completely cleaned up and shut down.

这些信息都在传导一个信号：官方已经开始打压虚拟货币的存在。因为虚拟货币交易一直以来都存在着较大的金融风险漏洞，为进一步保护民众们的财产，各大部门才开始出招。

This information is sending a signal that the government has begun to crush the existence of virtual money. Because virtual currency transactions have been subject to large financial risk loopholes, it is only in order to further protect the people’s property that the major sectors have started to do so.

并且，近年来，由于挖矿的存在，导致一些电脑配件价格也跟着水涨船高，例如说显卡和硬盘，因为这些都是挖矿的必备器材。已经开始严重影响民众们的正常生活了。

另一方面，特斯拉CEO马斯克近段时间来对于虚拟货币的炒作，让公众看到了虚拟货币的不稳定性。一个企业家的一言一语，居然能够随便左右虚拟货币的价格走势。前期特斯拉靠着比特币赚钱，马斯克直接将其当做“心肝宝贝”，甚至提出买特斯拉的车可以使用比特币，导致比特币的价格在此段时间内不断高升。

On the other hand, Tesla CEOMASK has been working on virtual currency for some time, showing the public the instability of virtual currency. One entrepreneur’s words can easily influence the price of virtual currency.

结果最近马斯克突然变脸，说比特币的消耗太大，狗狗币才是真爱，并马上暂停比特币作为特斯拉的支付方式。结果正如大家看到，比特币出现大跌，而狗狗币则开启了上涨行情。
