下一代互联网未至 ETF先行：首支Web3.0基金已经在路上

　　据报道，在最新一轮的ETF角逐中，资产管理公司SimplifyAsset Management向美国证券交易委员会(SEC)提交了Web3.0 主题ETF申请，名为Simplify Volt Web3 ETF，该ETF旨在跟踪有望从技术基础设施中受益的Web3.0公司。如果获得批准，将以股票代码WIII在纽约证券交易所进行交易。

In the latest ETF contest, it was reported that the asset management company SimplifyAsset Management submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a Web 3.0 subject ETF application, entitled Simplify Volt Web3 ETF, which is designed to track Web3.0 companies that are expected to benefit from technological infrastructure. If approved, the stock code WIII will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

　　该主动管理型ETF将由SimplifyAsset Management CEO兼联合创始人Paul Kim及其首席信息官兼联合创始人David Berns管理，不直接投资加密货币，但会将其总资产的10%分配到灰度比特币信托基金，还将通过期权策略来对冲风险。

The proactively managed ETF will be managed by Paul Kim, SimplifyAsset Management CEO and his co-founder, and David Berns, Chief Information Officer and co-founder, without directly investing in encrypted currency, but will allocate 10 per cent of its total assets to the Greyscale Bitcoin Trust Fund and will also hedge risk through a options strategy.

By the end of December, assets managed by the global meta-coastal ETF had soared to $2.2 billion, while most ETFs were launched only last three quarters. Rowdhill Ball Metaverse (code: META) was the first meta-coastal ETF in the United States, attracting more than $920 million in investment since its launch on 30 June 2021.

　　而此次Simplify瞄准Web 3.0，或许认为未来，不管是互联网还是虚拟世界都离不开这个被称为下一代互联网的概念。而这个早在十几年前就被提出的概念，最近被元宇宙带火。

Thus, Web3.0 is a deeper transformation than Web 2.0, the key to which is not a shift in performance and interaction, but rather a control that returns control to users. In the vision of Web3.0 advocates, its idealistic utopia, a decentralized Internet based on block-chain technology, will subvert the monopoly of technology giants like Google, Amazon, Facebook and others on the Internet.
