On April 23rd, Metis announced on its official blog that it has launched the second phase of the decentralized sorter upgrade, introducing multiple trading, trading pool, and sorter mining functions to increase network throughput. Additionally, through protocols like Artemis and Enki, users can stake METIS tokens on Artemis Finance and receive artMETIS as liquidity staking tokens. Users can also stake METIS through Enki and receive seMETIS, but this protocol utilizes ENKI for governance. Enki will soon be deployed on the mainnet, but users can already interact with Enki's pre-staking plan.

Community members reported abnormal activities on the Velvet Capital trading platform on April 23rd, where users trying to connect to the frontend were prompted to approve their wallet access to the protocol. An internal investigation led to Velvet Capital issuing a network security alert, advising investors to reject all wallet connection requests from the app until further notice. 5.Malaysian L1 project MasChain's mainnet officially launches

Golden Finance reported that on April 23rd, the Malaysian L1 project Masverse PoA chain, MasChain's mainnet officially launched. The launch ceremony took place at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) and was announced by Danesh Jothiprahasam, Domestic Investment Director of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), and Zhou Weixun, CEO of Masverse. Additionally, the project signed agreements with multiple companies on-site, including two memorandums of agreement (MoA) and five memorandums of understanding (MoU). MasChain is Malaysia's first PoA chain, aiming to provide token digitization solutions for the government and industries. MasChain is primarily based on Substrate as the core framework, with Pallets smart contracts as modular components.
